Way Kambas National Park was declared a national park on March 13 1991. Its management fell to the Natural Resources Conservation Sub-Agency which then changed its name to Way Kambas National Park Hall. Historically, Way Kambas National Park has existed since the Dutch colonial era. However, as time went by the name changed because it adjusted to the established rules.
The national park protects various types of wildlife that are starting to decline in terms of population size. This park was built as an effort to defend protected animals. Some of these animals include tapirs, Sumatran elephants, Sambar deer, Sumatran tigers, sun bears, Sumatran rhinos, deer, golden cats and several animals that are threatened with extinction. Meanwhile, the types of plants include meranti, rengas, kiara, merbau, pulai, mahang, sugar palm, beach cypress, ketapang, nyamplung and various types of mushrooms.
In this tour, for two days and one night, you get to spend time outside with the wildlife diversity of the national park. Interact with the lovely elephants during your visit. You get to see their training process as well as bathing them in the river.

You’ll be busy immediately on the first day in Way Kambas. We’ll take you to see the cultivation of honey bee species, called trigona. After that, we’ll walk by the riverbed to observe the elephants. There’s a night safari session too!

We hope that you get a good rest the night before because the second day will be very active. You’ll be able to see the elephants at the training center and even get the chance to bathe them in the river. On the second day, you’ll be having lunch in the middle of the national park.

After making the payment, check your email to see the booking confirmation order (within 24 hours). Upon receiving the booking confirmation order, please do the following:
Check order details, including: dates, names, et cetera.
In case of discrepancy mail us with your Booking ID at support@kamtuuindonesia.com
*It is advised to make the booking at least 30 days before your arrival date for convenient travel arrangements.
Documentation
Several countries are exempt from the requirement to have a visa to enter Indonesian territory as a tourist.

Cancellation Policy & Charges
Customers must send a written notification by email (cancellation@kamtuuindonesia.com) if they wish to cancel their booking with Kamtuu Indonesia. Please note that the following policy applies to any booking:
For cancellations done 30+ days before departure, loss of deposit.
For cancellations done less than 30 days before departure, loss of the total tour cost.
Kamtuu Indonesia will not waive cancellation fees as a result of the following:
Force majeure.
Injury or sickness.
Delayed, rescheduled, or missed flights.
Any unexpected incidents at home.
Refund policy
If you wish to cancel your booking and get a refund, please contact cancellation@kamtuuindonesia.com.
All costs related to refund payment will be deducted from the refund amount.
